REDWOOD STITCHERS CHAPTER

Redwood Stitchers is a chapter of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America Inc. (EGA), a national nonprofit educational organization. Anyone interested in needlework is welcome to join. The mission of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America is to inspire passion for the needle arts through education and the celebration of its heritage.

EGA consists of 240+ chapters organized into 13 regions across the US and Canada. The Redwood Stitchers Chapter belongs to the Greater Pacific Region (GPR). The region serves as a link between chapters and the national organization.

ABOUT US

We are a friendly group who enjoy exploring the needle arts. Through classes, workshops, seminars and stitch-ins, members are able to build and share their needlework knowledge and skills.

STITCH-INS and MEETINGS

Redwood Stitchers meet at the Luther Burbank Art and Garden Center on the second and fourth Wednesdays of most months, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The second Wednesday is the informal, with mostly stitch-ins, conversation, and getting acquainted. Members drop in at any time during meetings. The fourth Wednesday is more structured, with a business meeting, a scheduled class, lecture, or other educational opportunity. Members usually bring a sack lunch to each meeting. Beverages and refreshments are provided.
